I Blinked And Had Become…

…A Different Person. It started with a few pounds. I told myself that I’d join a walking or running club. But life kept getting in the way. The unwanted gain seemed to happen so fast, and before I knew it, I was heavy. 😢

Growing up, my days were packed with activities. I was always outdoors. I loved playing games and running up the hillsides of my neighborhood parks. But working a full-time job and being a full-time mom took its toll, and in a blink, I had gained 100 lbs.

I tried ALL the fad diets. Name it, I tried it. Low carb 🥑, high protein 🥩, intermittent fasting 🕰 – none of it worked. I tried a few online fitness programs too. But I struggled with finding the time while juggling all my responsibilities as a parent. By the time I got home from work I had to make dinner, do laundry, prep lunch, get the kids ready for bed. I was too tired at the end of the day to find time for anything else.

I felt like I was stuck in a cycle and couldn’t find a way out. Just as I was about to give up, I ran into Vanessa, an old neighbor who recently moved back to our neighborhood. At first, I didn’t recognize her – she actually had to reintroduce herself to me! We had a similar body type before, but she had totally transformed. And it wasn’t just her size – she was beaming with happiness. I had to find out how she did it!

I invited Vanessa over for lunch and asked her how she was able to make such a big change. To my surprise, I learned it was a simple breakfast routine that originated from Okinawa, Japan – just not something a lot of people know about. She was so kind and shared a link with all the information I needed to get started. I was blown away!
