Two years ago, we decided to move from Boston to Okracoke after my husband retired.
Okracoke is a beautiful small town of the outer banks in North Carolina, offering a good mix of city and outdoor life.
We enjoy all four seasons, but the fall and winter are absolutely gorgeous here. There are so many things to do outdoors like hiking, cycling, fishing, skiing in beautiful mountains and more..
But there was one problem, I was just too heavy to move around..
Years of stress and eating unhealthy had finally caught up to me. With aching joints and recent heart problem, I was in my worse shape.

I was getting depressed and I hated that I was missing out on so many precious moments with my family… all because I was so big and heavy. I hated the way I looked in a mirror.
I had visited several doctors who performed many tests but everything always came back normal, yet anything I tried led to the same results: Lose a little then gain it all back.
I felt so miserable and I had zero confidence on myself..
